Jake-

This is probably a moot point now that the format has been changed (thank you, W+K). However, I am surprised by your comments in the effect of 'if you don't like it, don't come.' Probably not the attitude that will get people pumped up about this series of events.

I know you organized Lunch2.0 in Portland but I like to think it is by the people, for the people.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm impressed at the amount of commentary generated by this Lunch 2.0. It really won't be as structured and corporate as it seems.

And even so, no one requires that you attend a free lunch.

If you really don't dig the format, Plan B is sit this one out and pencil in Lunch 2.0 at souk on July 16, back to the old format.

Congrats to W+K for being creative.

However, isn't limiting the event to those that can make it downtown on June 16th inconsistant with the spirit of Lunch2.0?

I'd love it if W+K would do something similar to what the Legion of Tech is doing with IP3...some tickets will be available on the night of the event.

Anyway, I'd love to attend Lunch2.0v4 on June 30th but I'll be down in the valley on June 16th. Oh well, guess I am out of luck :(
