		<description>It’s hard to put my finger on why I find #strangelovelive and #thesquare so appealing and fun.  I find the &#039;lack of polish&#039; refreshing - they live on the substance of the hosts and guests.  Both share an open and unencumbered-by-convention view into what’s going on in Portland and the world.  It&#039;s amazes me how I find these relatively low-budget shows to be more captivating then the high budget prime time variety.  As one raised in front of network TV, I gotta say the times are certainly changing for all forms of media.

And it’s good of you, Rick, to be such a vocal proponent of these innovative shows and the folks behind them.  But, I know, it’s just what you do.
