Party on, Wayne… err Cami Kaos! Strange Love Live gets Portland cable access slot
It’s no secret that I think Strange Love Live is the best podcast in Portland, if not the world. And now, a whole bunch more people are going to be exposed to that greatness. You see, Strange Love Live—in a fit of tiki-inspired retro-ness—just announced that they’re going completely retro—by making the leap to television.
So set your TiVo, here’s where you can catch Strange Love Live Tech Edition and Afterhours on cable access.
Yes, starting this Sunday at 6 PM those of you on the Westside of the Portland Metro area can count yourselves among the lucky few able to watch our podcast on the boob tube. Tualatin Valley Community Television will be airing select episodes of our 30 minute Tech Edition on cable & Verizon FIOS channel 23 through September 30th.
Now now. I hear you. Don’t worry. They haven’t gone completely Hollywood. You’ll still be able to catch the show live on Friday nights. It’s just that now, you’ll be able to watch reruns of the show on local cable, as well. More access makes it even more awesome.
When to watch? Well, it’s split between Westside and Eastside but here are the times:
Strange Love Live on Tualatin Valley Community Television Channel 23 (Westside)
- Sundays, 6:00 PM: Tech Edition
- Mondays, 3:00 AM: Afterhours
- Mondays, 11:30 AM: Tech Edition
- Tuesdays, 3:30 PM: Tech Edition
- Saturdays, 3:00 AM: Afterhours
- Saturdays, 3:30 PM: Tech Edition
Strange Love Live on Comcast Cable Channel 11 (Eastside or Westside)
- Wednesdays, 2:30 AM: Afterhours
- Wednesdays, 4:00 AM: Tech Edition
They’ll have these slots beginning today, July 5, 2009, and running through September 30, 2009. For more information on the shows running in July, see the Strange Love Live post on their jump to television.
