Thanks for the mention, Rick! Glad you are enjoying Pukka and based on the exchange thus far in the comments, I think I’ll go add some info about offline Delicious access to my page… ;-)

Incidentally, when I try to leave a comment here with my website filled in (which is also my OpenID), the plugin fails and the comment is not posted, so I’m leaving that field blank.

Steven, Sorry. I never thought of that angle. But yes, there is a local cache.

I just turned off my connection and was able to search through all of my bookmarks, including titles, descriptions, and tags. I was not, however, able to edit the cached information. I could only view it (via rollover).

I guess I’m still not clear (after reading their site too) on whether this is just access to my bookmarks outside the browser, or if it stores a backup or gives me offline access as well. I’d definitely pay for offline Delicious access, even though I only have the one account.
