Need a geeky activity this weekend? MacForce Summer Blast could be for you
Now, we all like to delve into the geeky stuff throughout the week. No doubt. But sometimes, we need even more geekiness over the weekend. You know, like camps, codesprints, coders socials, side project hacking, and the like. But what if you’re looking for some platform specific geekiness?
Well, you may be in luck my friend. The sixth annual MacForce Summer Blast is this Saturday.
Not a Mac aficionado? Don’t worry. Because I bet you still like free stuff. And MacForce They’re giving away Nanos every 30 minutes. No Mac needed to use those. And they’re giving away some LaCie and Wacom stuff too. Again, no Mac needed.
And of course if you love the Mac, there’s going to be more fun than you can shake a mouse at. That includes some Mac-specific giveaways, free seminars on how to use Mac type stuff, and vendor demos—including one from GadgetTrak that may help you if your Mac walks off.
Like the DJ music? Well, turns out Gustav from 94.7 will be spinning tunes for the event as well. Who knows? He might challenge you to a game of World of Warcraft, too.
And yes, it’s kid friendly. And there are free rocket pops. And apparently free BBQ.
For more information, see the MacForce Summer Blast.
