I find it remarkably easy to embed a video both in my free hosted blog on the wordpress.com domain and in my self hosted wordpress.org install as well. Your post makes me wonder why others were pulling out their hair. It also makes me wonder how it could be any simpler of a process than what I use now. I simply copy the embed code, open the HTML editor and paste it in - VOILA! I'm done. But hat's off to Viper007Bond who is going to make this process even easier and quicker. WOW!
