Turkey Tracker 2011: It will happen… if you just believe

If there’s a more geeky holiday treat than Turkey Tracker, I don’t know what it is. And I know some pretty geeky holiday stuff.

But the Portland Turkey Tracker team has disbanded a bit. It’s hard to say what’s up. Will the turkey be tracked? Will the sit be strangely quiet? Well, tune into Turkey Tracker on Thanksgiving and find out.

What the heck is Turkey Tracker, you ask?

Yes folks, it is once again that time to turn our eyes toward Portland’s own Turkey Tracker, the Internet phenomenon that lets you and yours track turkey temperature and preparation in real time. Why? Because they can.

[Turkey Tracker is an] Arduino enabled thermometer and real-time tracking of turkey temperatures. And live video. And live graphing. And photos. But this year, it also comes with some additional technology trimmings.

I know, right? But will it happen this year? Still hard to say.
