The Build is teh awesome: Instrument’s immersive and interactive documentary is something to behold

The Build is teh awesome: Instrument’s immersive and interactive documentary is something to behold

You would think that all of the Web stuff had been done. Or that even new stuff would be less than jaw dropping. But then there are things like “Snow Fall.” Or this most recent effort from Portland’s Instrument entitled “The Build.”

The piece follows the stories of three custom motorcycle makers here in Portland. But the way it does it—with a variety of interesting technical leaps and delightful interactivity—makes the experience far more enriching than watching a typical video. And engaging. And compelling. And, well, awesome.

I don’t know. I can’t really describe it. You just have to experience it.

You had me from the opening sequence. Killer logo/title mark, as well. Nice going, Instrument. Bravo!
