Visualize this: Portland Code School adds data visualization track

As we create more and more data, stuff gets more and more interesting. But it also gets pretty convoluted and confusing. That’s why practices like data visualization are gaining more and more traction in the industry. But how do you learn this dark art? Well, Portland Code School is working to help you do just that.

This 8 week seminar will focus on functional programming skills and techniques needed to create and deploy web based data visualizations. Technologies covered in this course include d3.js, leaflet.js, coffeescript, yeoman for modern workflows, as well as SVG.

This course is designed to accommodate both newer and more advanced developers. The Sunday Seminars will introduce new material, and complete hands-on practice.
