Description

The Application Support Analyst is a full-time, on-site position responsible for first-tier application support, handling the initial research, troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues. Additionally, the ASA may perform production or project support as needed, including HTML coding, data uploads or image uploads/ formatting. A successful candidate will have excellent customer service and organizational skills, and must be comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-paced yet informal and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer communication channels for support requests

  • Respond to requests in a professional, timely manner

  • Provide direct customer support, troubleshooting and maintenance

  • Prioritize requests, escalate or assign to colleagues as appropriate

  • Proactively perform quality control as needed


Requirements:

  • Enjoy high interrupt work, and able to multi-task, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines

  • Love detective work; relentlessly pursue the full answer; able to see the connection between different pieces of software or technology components

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills; must be able to convey difficult concepts to both technical and non-technical users

  • The preferred candidate will also be familiar with Linux-based web site development (e.g. Apache, MySQL, Python, PHP, Zope).
