Description

Kryptiq has an immediate opening for an individual with a passion for software testing, who can demonstrate superior detailed manual and automation skills testing a network application.

Primary responsibilities:

Design, develop, document, and execute complex test plans
Perform black box testing (functional, integration)
Help develop and run automated test scripts and tools against APIs
Identify and report software defects using a variety of tools and methods
Work with developers to isolate and reproduce problems, and verify fixes
Work to identify networking problems and solutions integral to the product
Track and report quality status to the project team
Install and maintain third party EMR applications

General requirements:

Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team member
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Efficiently prioritize, multitask, and manage time
Detail oriented
Familiarity with testing hosted, multi-tier, web-based applications
Familiarity with IIS, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, SQL Server, Security, and C#
Familiarity and experience with VMWare virtualization environments
Develop performance and scalability tests for network applications
Familiarity with clinical systems including electronic medical records (EMR), a plus

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to:

Participate in cross-functional teams responsible for development of healthcare web applications
Collaborate with team members to determine the scope of the testing effort, resulting plans, and schedules
Review technical specs and use cases
Help define test objectives
Perform manual and automated testing of applications for conformance to stated requirements
Prepare well-written and descriptive bug reports for product management review and resolution
