ActiveTrak Inc. is looking for a .NET software developer to add to our development team developing N-tier enterprise-level web applications and web services. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and be able to adapt to changing requirements. Candidates must be a self-motivated and thrive in an environment with minimal guidance and take a leadership role as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web services and web applications using ASP.NET, C# and the .NET 3.5+ framework.


• Participate in planning iterative releases


• Write and test software for iterative releases using test driven development practices

Required Skills

• A BS in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5 years of professional development experience


• Object-oriented design and development experience


• Professional experience developing scalable web applications in ASP.NET and C#


• Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2008/2010, ASP.NET, C#, .NET 3.5+ Framework, SQL/T-SQL


• Experience with some flavor of test driven development


• Knowledgeable in the application of various web and network communication protocols such as HTTP

Preferred Skills

• ASP MVC2 framework experience


• IIS7 web site hosting experience


• Experience creating installation packages using MSInstaller or InstallShield
  
• Windows client and Windows Mobile development
