Emerge Interactive (http://www.emergeinteractive.com) is a full service Interactive Agency looking for an enthusiastic Interactive Project Manager / Interactive Producer to join our team. Our creative headquarters are located in the heart of Portland, OR.

The Interactive Producer is responsible for ongoing project, team and client management. Individuals in this role have considerable client exposure and must demonstrate the ability to work on both business and technology projects with companies across a broad range of industries, such as high-tech, consumer goods and healthcare. Position is available immediately.

Job responsibilities

• Manage up to 5 concurrent client projects, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 organizations.
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for clients.
• Define the scope of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule, and budget).
• Lead and inspire teams by communicating a vision for the project as well as involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization.
• Consult on website and business strategy, such as audience analysis, competitive analysis, developing a website’s messaging strategy and performing a content needs analysis, creating user personas.
• Serve as the main client interface on projects, helping define vision, clarifying strategic requirements, explaining complex ideas clearly, and managing expectations.
• Systems analysis for existing client applications.
• Development of detailed project requirements documentation.
• Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.
• Lead efficient meetings and conference calls with the ability to effectively setup the presentation of creative work.
• Clearly communicate project issues and resolution to the client and internal team.

Job requirements

• 3+ years of web project management experience
• BA/BS in business or technology-related field (or commensurate experience)
• Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and writing skills
• Experience writing detailed project requirements documentation
• Experience producing banner ads, rich media ads and working with ad servers
• Experience performing website quality assurance
• Experience developing project plans using MS Project
• Experience managing project budgets over $100,000
• Experience managing marketing, creative or technology projects
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and server-side scripting languages
• Strong problem solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment
• Position may include 2 to 5 days a month of travel
