Description
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for developing a Business Intelligence/Datawarehouse environment. under a variety of situations. You will work with the company's Directors to identify their needs and provide solid solutions including data models, ETL strategies, and metadata. You should understand business processes, data entities, data producers, consumers, and the data quality.
Responsibilities Include:
• Confer with Directors to understand and evaluate their needs for data from the Datawarehouse and plan how it will be structured and accessed
• Perform data analysis and data profiling and identify data quality issues
• Develop data model, ETL, dashboard and report products.
• Assess data extraction, report generation, and bugs appearing in operations involving the Datawarehouse
• Architect, design, and develop enterprise Datawarehouse components including databases and ETL using SSIS
• Architect, design, and develop operational databases required for BI applications
• Provide production support to solve immediate problems and keep databases in production
You will need strong data analysis skills and experience with metadata management, knowledge of principles, techniques, and best practices of enterprise Datawarehouse. Significant experience is required with Datawarehouse development including ETL using MS SQL Server environment (including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS). and Dundas Dashboard This position requires 5 years of professional software development experience, 1-3 years of data warehousing experience, and 1-3 years of Business Intelligence experience.
