Senior Software Developer
Selectron Technologies, Inc. (www.selectrontechnologies.com) is the leading provider of voice, web, and mobile interactive solutions for the government marketplace. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented, team-oriented Senior Software Developer to help us meet our growing business needs.

Position Description
The individual will have responsibilities for the design, development, unit testing, and maintenance of new and existing Voice and Mobile applications in support of Selectron Technologies’ customer engagements. The ideal candidate will bring their broad, development experience, a hands-on approach, a mentoring mind and the motivation to help our customers succeed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop applications in support of Selectron Technologies’ customers and business strategy.
• Apply state of the art software engineering techniques to develop and maintain applications built using Microsoft technologies.
• Work as a member of an experienced and highly productive engineering team that delivers software using an agile development process.
• Function effectively as an integral part of a cross-functional product team that includes representatives from engineering, marketing, operations, customer service, business development, and program management.
• Collaborate constructively with other developers to engineer product solutions, including making appropriate design tradeoffs.
• Assume responsibility for significant product deliverables.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
• Demonstrable industry track record of delivering commercial-quality software products and services.
• Proficiency and/or expert knowledge with the following: C#, .NET 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET and IIS, SQL Server 2005/2008, Visual Studio 2008/2010, Web Technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML), Web Services, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Presentation Services, Windows Forms, Office 2007/2010.
• Ability to extract and abstract the core essence of customer requirements, complex use cases, and scenarios.
• Experience with agile and iterative development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with source code control systems and applied release management principles and techniques.
• Expertise developing, debugging and tuning SQL queries.
• Understanding of security best practices for development.
• Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and in small groups.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR), telephony technology, and Geographic Information System (GIS) experience is a plus, as is experience with software testing and project management.
