Kavi is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to support our primary product offering, Kavi Workspace. The TME is expected to use deep technical knowledge of WorkSpace, competitive products, and other software tools in the customer environment to support the sales team. Key components of this position are working directly in the field to fully address technical questions for the customer, as well as capturing and synthesizing information about their unmet and future needs. The TME is the primary interface with engineering in driving the product to meet market demands. The TME also is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with industry partners in support of the technical and marketing strategies for the product.

Specifically, the TME will provide the following:
Technical product management:
- Filter and prioritize feature requests
- Work with customers/sales/engineering to develop detailed feature requirements
- Negotiate, document and communicate the product roadmap

Technical collateral development:
- Best practices
- Integration guides
- Technical white papers

Partnership development and management:
- Develop and maintain technical/marketing relationships with key integration partners

Project management:
- Beta release/pilot program management

Required experience and knowledge:
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer
• 5 years experience in the software, preferably SaaS, market
• Extensive web-based development and web services knowledge
• Familiarity with LAMP framework (LINUX, Apache, MySQL, Python/PHP/Perl)
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• BSCS or BS and equivalent experience
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
