ForeclosureRadar is seeking a full time BI Developer to work with our various data sources and present it in ways that will “wow” our customers. We’re looking for a developer who is engaged, upbeat, and willing to work from home or office in the Portland area.

You'll collaborate with a Portland-based team of engineers to create unique, powerful, and useful tools that help realtors, investors, and government customers quickly make informed decisions.

ForeclosureRadar is an industry leader with an entrepreneurial start-up culture. We are self-funded, financially sound, and serve a vibrant and growing market segment. ForeclosureRadar is based in Discovery Bay, CA with a Portland-based development team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Using pre-built tools and/or making your own, build sound mechanisms for transforming, querying and presenting our data.
• Make our customers stand up and say, “Would you look at that!”.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to look at seemingly disparate data sources and match them up in creative and informative ways.
• Ability to transform data to make it easier to query and/or understand.
• Strong SQL query skills with special emphasis in data reporting/analysis experience.
• Able to take business needs and translate them into efficiently executed queries.
• Experience working with data warehouses, data marts and OLAP technologies.
• Comfortable with scripting languages, including Bash, PHP, Perl and/or Python.
• Comfortable working with large datasets.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Cognos, Informatica or JasperSoft.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, columnar-store or non-relational DB's.
• Familiarity with charting tools, such as pChart.
• Familiarity with open source software and culture.
• BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
