A Candidate Manager is responsible for performing the daily tasks associated with the recruitment process including locating, qualifying and maintaining relationships with IT professionals needed for our clients by performing the following duties:


 Works with Sourcing to qualify candidates in ProDX database and other recruiting databases to which ProDX has access.
 Searches websites, newsgroups, and similar sources for qualified candidates.
 Contacts candidates periodically (maintenance calls).
 Evaluates candidate qualifications and completes ProDX candidate submittal form.
 Interviews, by phone and in person, potential candidates.
 Quality checks - has each candidate complete a designated technical or functional skill set test.
 Checks professional references for each candidate – minimum of 2 manager references are required. At least 1 manager reference needs to be checked when an interview is requested by client.
 Reviews, approves and works assigned job orders in the internal database.
 Explains benefits available to candidates to sell them on the advantages of working for ProDX.
 Maintains and expands a high level of knowledge with a broad range of technologies, skill sets, IT consulting roles, etc.
 Follows all internal policies and procedures, including the accurate, timely, and complete recording of recruiting activity in ProDX’s database.
 Accurate and updated candidate record database management.
 Facilitates and accurately captures a minimum of 2 business leads per submittal or 15 per month.
 Must meet monthly quotas outlined below:


1. Each month, a Candidate Manager is expected to oversee that the maximum submittals (3) are achieved for each assigned Job Order (JO);
2. While job orders vary in complexity, it’s expected that at least 75% of submittals will occur within 72 hours of posting a job order;
3. A Candidate Manager is expected to have a 1:4 interview to submittal ratio;
4. While the placement of candidates is a shared responsibility between account managers and recruiters, a minimum of 2 qualified placements per month is expected.


 Attend networking events
 Business development activities through candidate referrals and manager references.


Solid understanding of recruiting process and methodology and technical terms and concepts. Exceptional customer service, follow-up and follow-through skills combined with strong interpersonal skills. Strong sales background which includes negotiation, problem solving, time management and communication skills is required.


Minimum of 2+ years in a Recruiter or Account Management role with a solid understanding of current technologies and the staffing industry process and procedures. Strong people skills and the ability to provide conflict resolution and foster a team environment.
