Swift is looking for a seasoned developer with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.

Your role is to collaborate with the creative team and strategists to form and bring to life amazing interactive experiences for our clients. You will bridge front-end and back-end development, as you’re presented with new challenges and problems to solve every day. Although there are specific technologies Swift Collective supports, you may also be asked to investigate, learn and become an expert in new technologies. You must thrive in an open, collaborative and highly creative environment. Your work is to bring to life the desired experiences of our team. Your contribution to that experience is key.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Take ownership of all projects through the entire development process through to launch
• Collaborate with producers, designers, developers and analysts to develop client solutions, and ensure your work meets the expectations and objectives of our clients
• Be solutions-minded, providing recommendations on client projects to produce the best solution within the hours allotted
• Constantly evolve your development skills
• Collaborate with development team to improve development processes
• Develop accurate hours estimates for future projects
• Approach technical challenges with an open mind and desire to innovate
• Appreciate great design and thrive in a creative environment
• Have experience working on small to medium‐sized teams
• Are communicative, patient, and clear under tight deadlines

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong front-end and back-end development experience with a minimum of 4 years developing website and applications and direct experience with the following:
• 3+ years experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP each. Expert proficiency required
• Experience building sites in a responsive design fashion, targeting multiple devices beyond desktop/laptop
• Very proficient in CSS3/HTML5
• Multiple Magento website projects in your portfolio
• Robust background in Javascript libraries, ideally jQuery
• Have worked to develop cross-browser compatible solutions
• Have worked with open source platforms like WordPress and Drupal
• Experience with .NET environments a plus (C# specifically)
• Experience with .NET platforms like Sitecore or Sitefinity a plus
• Experience with AJAX
• Experience with versioning systems such as Subversion and Git
