Develop the marketing strategy for Adaptu and own the team’s objectives, priorities, schedules, budget, and key results. Lead and manage internal direct reports and external agencies in the creation and delivery of multiple marketing initiatives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Turn online/social media ideas into prioritized strategies and workable plans, timelines and budgets and using social media to advocate for clients.
Responsible for managing the work environment, identifying workforce needs and ensuring alignment with corporate manager expectations, values and vision.
Marketing: Deliver innovative digital and social media branding strategies and initiatives in order to create buzz, further engage our community, grow friends/followers, and build loyalty. Track and report on competitive intelligence, marketing, and positioning. Consult with Adaptu Leadership Team on trends and recommendations. Customer Insight: Be the (quantified) voice of the customer: Represent existing and potential customers in Adaptu planning, contribute to product roadmap and definition.
Customer Acquisition: Cost effective and ROI positive acquisition of customers through innovation in press, product, email, content, SEO, SEM, community, virality, and partnerships. Develop approach towards additional avenues of consumer acquisition and brand building, including SEO and SEM efforts, and mobile programs.
Public Relations: Own press strategy, while collaborating with Adaptu leadership team to further the brand. Determine and execute a strategy for gaining maximum (positive) media exposure, in order to build awareness, solidify brand message, and acquire customers. This includes selection of media outlets, selection & management of PR agency, and triage for negative press, press leaks, security issues.
Marketing Metrics: Lead ongoing development and analysis of customer insights to improve customer understanding, strengthen customer acquisition and retention efforts, enhance targeted marketing campaigns, and drive key business strategies. Utilize key metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of all marketing programs and provide recommendations for future.
Activation & Retention: Activate users through messaging across channels: product, web, blog, email. Establish awareness of new features & benefits across the Personal Finance Space.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience: 10+ years related professional experience highly desired in online consumer/finance or website company, online marketing or integrated marketing environment
Skills required:
-Management skills including mobilizing and motivating teams, creating challenging strategies with set parameters/budgets, and adept in conveying ownership of assigned projects, timelines, budgets and overall vision to team members.
-Experience in executive-level communications. Ability to create communications for executives that capture the leader’s voice, vision and intent. Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior executives.
