We're looking for a special person to add to our growing Agent engineering team as a manager. We have a different view of management: we believe engineers are smart, creative, hard-working, and just require the freedom to get done what needs doing. So if you're a command-and-control person, this is not the right place for you. But if you're a very talented software engineer who also loves helping people by removing obstacles, we might be perfect for you.

Your job as an engineering manager is to enable the engineers to do amazing things. Your product is people.That could mean sitting in meetings so that the engineers don't have to; it could mean telling the executives to stop changing their minds all the time (so that engineers can focus and deliver); it could mean coaching an engineer through their first big conference presentation. It does mean whatever it takes to make certain the engineers are the stars of the organization, doing the best work they have ever done.
For this role, we're looking for someone who understands the technical characteristics and risks our crafting code injection language extensions entails, and who excels at creating a frictionless process that builds and enables the team.

You'll have had a several years of experience being a great engineer with a track record of delivering technically complex projects (we're serious: you have to be able to demonstrate that, or it's a "stop-ship").
