We are in search of a talented Sr. Java Developer to develop award winning client/server, database applications. As a member of a small, responsive development team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of new features and enhancements for a best-of-class client/server application, owning each task from investigation through release.

Responsibilities include:
• Perform investigations into technical feasibility
• Create effort estimates
• Participate in task scheduling with program manager and technical lead
• Work with QA to ensure product quality and performance
• Champion product improvements

Essential Qualifications:
• Requires a BSCS, or equivalent and 5+ years of java enterprise (client/server) including EJB development and system configuration experience
• Experience development and deployment of J2EE applications targeting the JBoss application server.
• Experience with Hibernate and/or Python a definite plus
• Solid ANSI-SQL skills and familiarity with at least two enterprise RDBMS platforms, such as MS SQLServer, Oracle, or MySQL a definite plus
• Familiarity with modern toolsets: Ant and Eclipse for Java development; Perforce; Mac OS X; debugging, profiling, and code-coverage tools.
• Experience with agile/iterative development practices in a collaborative environment
• Demonstrated strength in project planning and task management with the goals of working on the right thing to deliver the specified functionality on time
• Good technical documentation skills: Document what you deliver
• Demonstrated strength in communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent team-oriented development and interpersonal skills.

Education/Formal Training: BSCS preferred, equivalent experience considered.
