Silicon Florist

We are looking for a passionate, junior front-end developer with strong foundational knowledge in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a desire to learn, solve problems in our collaborative environment and contribute ideas and solutions for our clients. Hand coding standards-compliant front-end code is your craft. Ideal candidates have a strong base understanding of good HTML syntax and want to work in an environment where you can further develop your skills.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1-2 years developing website and/or web applications and direct experience with the following:
1-2 years experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript each. Intermediate proficiency expected.
Experience with CSS2 and CSS3/HTML5 preferred.
Experience and interest in Javascript libraries, ideally jQuery.
Have tested your websites across multiple browsers to ensure compatibility. Experience in developing for mobile browsers a plus.
Expertise in responsive design a plus, but not required.
Experience with versioning systems such as Subversion and Git a plus.
