At SmartCloud, we are building an exciting new cloud management platform
that is transforming the way people interact with their data centers.

This is an opportunity for a junior/mid-level developer to join a
startup at the ground level and gain experience in a number of areas
including agile practices, cloud computing, data visualization, and
user interface design.


Requirements:
* 2+ years of SW engineering experience
* 1+ years of Python experience
* 1+ years of javascript experience
* An eye for quality UI design, ease of use, and simplicity of presentation
* Empathy for the end-user
* Efficient and happy working in a Linux environment
* A passion for automation, bringing order to chaos, and solving customer problems
* An interest in doing your own design, implementation, testing, and basic documentation
* Live in the Portland area

Nice to have:
* Django experience
* Familiarity with Agile methodology
* Experience with virtualization technologies
* Experience with data center automation technologies (Puppet, BladeLogic, CFEngine, Altiris, HPSA/Opsware, Chef, etc)
