SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The Software Engineer is a part of a team responsible for defining the next generation of clinical information and communication systems for physicians and patients to interact using Kryptiq’s secure communication technologies. You will participate in cross-functional project teams that enhance existing products and create new products, from concept to launch. Your responsibility to the team is to design, implement, and test solutions that result in compelling, easy to use products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement .NET 4.0 solutions using C#, MS SQL Server 2008, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, RESTful Web Services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
• Use OOP, Design Patterns, and TDD in daily development practices
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Identify features and improvements to enhance overall product value: usability, maintainability, security, and performance
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle including design, implementation, testing and sustaining
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years experience as a full-time software developer on a software development team
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to meet the project priorities
• Proven experience developing creative solutions and acting independently
DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Experience in software application design and development in the medical IT field
• DBA skills, ORMs (NHibernate, EF, Linq-2-SQL), NuGet, Mercurial, TeamCity, FogBugz
• Familiarity with healthcare interface standards: HL7, CCD, CCR, IHE
