We hiring a talented and passionate Systems & Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Portland, OR, who will lead the development of our new SaaS infrastructure. You'll use your DevOps background, domain expertise, and experience partnering with Dev & QA to help us deliver the next-generation product suite to our growing network of merchants. Our goal? Create automated systems so that a human never has to logon to a server and provide monitoring systems with self-healing capability. Ultimately, we want to focus on cool new things and not on manual tasks.

What We've Gotta Have
* Significant Unix/Linux experience
* Expert scripting experience (Ruby, bash, Python, Perl)
* Experience with configuration management systems (preferably Puppet).
* Experience with Amazon Web Services suite of products.
* Experience with asynchronous queuing applications
* Experience with metric collection systems and data stores
* Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases
* Comfortable with distributed source code control systems (git, mercurial)
* Comfortable with large scale distributed systems.
* Ability to easily adapt to challenges outside your scope of experience.
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, distributed work environment (we have offices in Portland, OR, and Emeryville, CA).
