# Walker Tracker hits one billion steps tracked

As [Lao-Tzu said](http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/24004.html "Lao-Tzu quotation"), “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” So began the journey for [Walker Tracker](http://walkertracker.com/ "Walker Tracker"), a Portland-based community site for pedometer fans to log and track their steps.
