# REMINDER: Silicon Forest Forum tomorrow

As I mentioned in a previous post and the [Silicon Florist podcast](http://siliconflorist.com/2008/09/10/silicon-florist-podcast-03-orblogs-events-internet-astronauts-events-vidoop-events-iterasi-and-more-events/ "Silicon Florist podcast"), [the co-founder of Tesla Motors will be the keynote](http://siliconflorist.com/2008/08/27/silicon-forest-forum-revs-up-the-geek-cred-with-tesla-founder-social-media-slot/ "Marc Tarpenning keynotes the Silicon Forest Forum"). I’ll do my best to see if he’s willing to give a [Tesla Roadster](http://www.teslamotors.com/ "Tesla Motors") to each of the [Friends of the Florist](http://twurl.cc/43v "Friends of the Florist").

But I’m not guaranteeing anything.

I’ll be in attendance as part of my effort to continue the wacky week of Silicon Florist appearances at events. I had a great time at [LivePitch Portland on Tuesday](http://fastwonderblog.com/2008/09/10/tips-for-pitching-to-investors/ "LivePitch Portland") and was honored to moderate a phenomenal panel—[Josh Bancroft](http://tinyscreenfuls.com "Josh Bancroft"), [Dawn Foster](http://fastwonderblog.com "Dawn Foster"), and [Marshall Kirkpatrick](http://marshallk.com "Marshall Kirkpatrick")—at the OEN PubTalk last night.

So what I am doing at the Silicon Forest Forum? More smiling and nodding, of course.

I’ll be moderating another all star panel entitled “[Bloggers, Digital Media… and the Business of Creating Content](http://www.siliconforestforum.com/2008/agenda08.htm "Bloggers digital media and the business of creating content").”

The panel will feature:

- Harry McCracken, [Technologizer](http://technologizer.com "Technologizer")
- Leander Kahney, [Wired.com](http://wired.com "wired.com")
- Brian Kissel, [JanRain](http://janrain.com "JanRain")

See? Smiling and nodding indeed. But at least it keeps a consistent theme to the week. That theme being “Great panel, but what is *Rick* doing up there?”
