# New Legion of Tech board members announced… err tweeted

In a very Barack-Obama-naming-his-running-mate-esque moment, I saw [Bram Pitoyo congratulate](http://twitter.com/brampitoyo/status/1053050889 "Bram Pitoyo congratulates LoT board") the new [Legion of Tech](http://legionoftech.org "Legion of Tech") board members in a tweet. I’m struggling to find an “official” post on this , but If texting is good enough for Barack, then [Twitter](http://twitter.com "Twitter") is absolutely perfect for [Legion of Tech](http://twitter.com/legionoftech "Legion of Tech"). *\[Update\]* [Legion of Tech has posted the new board for 2009](http://legionoftech.org/blog/?p=38 "Legion of Tech board for 2009").

The new board members are [Amy Farrell](http://twitter.com/akfarrell "Amy Farrell"), [Craig Fisk](http://twitter.com/cfisk "Craig Fisk"), [Chris O’Rourke](http://twitter.com/chrisorourke "Chris O'Rourke"), and [Chris Pitzer](http://twitter.com/chrispitzer "Chris Pitzer"). They join existing board members [Josh Bancroft](http://twitter.com/jabancroft "Josh Bancroft"), [Adam DuVander](http://twitter.com/adamd "Adam DuVander"), [Dawn Foster](http://twitter.com/geekygirldawn "Dawn Foster"), [Todd Kenefsky](http://twitter.com/tiesque "Todd Kenefsky"), and [Raven Zachary](http://twitter.com/ravenme "Raven Zachary").

An [advisory committee is being established](http://legionoftech.org/blog/?p=35 "Legion of Tech elections"), as well. Names of the advisory committee were not announced (or tweeted by Bram, either).

Congratulations to the new board members! I know we’re all looking forward to another amazing year of Legion of Tech events.
