# Ignite Portland 6: Who’s got the burning ideas this time?

From the sounds of things, choosing [presentations for Ignite Portland 6](http://www.igniteportland.com/2009/06/announcing-the-ignite-portland-6-talk-lineup/ "Presentations for Ignite Portland 6") was a bit of a doozy. But the Ignite Portland team managed to soldier on and select a group of presenters to [take the stage on July 16](http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/1853936/ "Ignite Portland 6").

There were almost 70 proposals—and all of them were really good. So who made the cut?

Thanks go out, as well, to all the folks who submitted comments and showed up to the Town Hall to provide their feedback on presentation ideas.

> We also want to say a special “thank you” to those who took the time to come to our first ever open Town Hall meeting, to discuss the talk ideas, and to all those who left private comments for the organizers. Your feedback was very, very helpful as we asked ourselves “what does the Ignite Portland community want to see on stage at IP6?”
