# Open Source Bridge: A peek at the hacker lounge

One of the most anticipated components of the [Open Source Bridge](http://opensourcebridge.org "Open Source Bridge") conference—which is currently running in the convention center through Friday—was the [24-hour hacker lounge at the top of the Hilton](http://opensourcebridge.org/2009/wiki/Hacker_Lounge "Hacker lounge").

The space opened yesterday afternoon and as the evening wore on, a number of developers managed to work their way up to the top floor to hack on everything from [Arduino](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arduino "Arduino") projects to using [YQL to manipulate government data](http://developer.yahoo.net/blog/archives/2009/06/yql_open_government.html "Using YQL for good").

[Don Park](http://twitter.com/donpdonp "Don Park on Twitter") captured some video to give you a feel for the space.

If you’re interested in visiting the hacker lounge or catching some of the Open Source Bridge sessions, [day passes are still available](http://opensourcebridge.org/2009/06/day-passes-now-available-99-for-single-day-attendance/ "Day passes for Open Source Bridge").
