# Every Silicon Forest vote counts: Fieldrunners, Air Sharing, Stanza nominated for iPhone App Awards

Among the “[That’s a Portland company?](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/06/30/oregon-portland-17-projects-silicon-forest-cred-deserve/ "They're in Oregon?")” products that I use on a regular basis, [Subatomic Studios Fieldrunners](http://fieldrunners.com "Fieldrunners") has to be right near the top. And I’m only willing to admit that because I know I’m far from alone in that regard. Another iPhone app that tops the list of favorites? [Air Sharing](http://www.avatron.com/products/ "Air Sharing") from Vancouver’s Avatron. And then, of course, there’s Portland’s [Stanza which was acquired by Amazon](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/04/27/amazon-acquires-portland-based-lexcycle-makers-of-iphone-ebook-app-stanza/).

And now, someone else is recognizing that brilliance. Fieldrunners has been nominated for the Best Tower Defense Game. Air Sharing has been nominated for Best File Utility App. And Stanza has been nominated for Best eBook Reader. Even better news? [Your vote could help them win](http://appadvice.com/appawards/vote "Vote for your favorite iPhone app").

> You can vote in as many or as few categories as you like but only once per IP address. When you’ve made your selections scroll all the way down the page and click submit. Voting will end Sunday, July 19, 2009 and winners will be announced the following day.

Voting only takes a couple of seconds—well and a bunch of scrolling. But your time could mean even further recognition for all the awesome Mobile development taking place in the Silicon Forest. So that’s worth it right?

The App Awards are the creation of [appadvice](http://appadvice.com/appnn/ "appadvice"), a site that tracks the latest and greatest iPhone apps and games.

To cast your vote, [visit the App Awards ballot](http://appadvice.com/appawards/vote "Vote for your favorite iPhone apps"). And once you’re done voting, be sure to scroll to the bottom to click the Submit button.
