# REMINDER: Demo night at Nedspace Old Town grand opening tonight

\[HTML2\]Just a little reminder that [NedSpace](http://nedspace.com "NedSpace") will be hosting the grand opening of their second location—[NedSpace Old Town](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/07/07/nedspace-ii-vidoop-space-town-startup-flare/ "NedSpace II: Former Vidoop space in Old Town keeps startup flare")—at the space formerly known as Vidoop, tonight beginning at 4 PM. The event—entitled “[Hellzapoppin’](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/07/27/nedspace-hellzapoppin-portland-coworking-space-old-town-demo-startup-project/ "NedSpace Hellzapoppin: Celebrate a new Portland coworking space in Old Town, demo your startup project")“—will have free beer thanks to the fine folks at [Widmer](http://widmer.com "Widmer Brothers"). And there will be live jazz thanks to [Boy and Bean](http://www.myspace.com/boyandbean "Boy and Bean"). Can’t beat that on a day like today.

But that’s not all. Tonight’s event will also feature you. Yes, you. If you’re a startup with something to demo.

> In the spirit of Hellzapoppin’, \[NedSpace\] will be presenting successful startups in the Portland area that are thriving even during this economic recession, where Oregon is enjoying a 12.4% unemployment rate. Innovators will be demonstrating their products and ideas in 5 minute demonstrations. Many of the companies not only have products and great ideas, but they are generating revenue and many are thriving regardless of the economy.
