# Portland Ten Lunch 2.0 at NedSpace

So, you’re going to want to pay attention to this Lunch 2.0 announcement. It’s full of firsts.

[Last month](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/07/16/shredded-money-freebies-lunch-20/), we had our first non-tech company host a Portland Lunch 2.0, and now, we’re having the first multi-hosted one.

[Portland Ten](http://www.portlandten.com/), [Stoel Rives](http://www.stoel.com/), [FundingUniverse](http://www.fundinguniverse.com/), and [NedSpace](http://nedspace.com/) are hosting Portland Lunch 2.0 on August 26, 2009 at NedSpace in Old Town.

That’s not all, though. From 12:00 to 12:45, there will be a livepitch [session](http://www.fundinguniverse.com/services/339/440/lunch-2.0-portland-livepitch.html), which is free for anyone to watch.

So, this will be the first time I’ve seen a livepitch, which should be interesting, and it’s the first time we’ve had a Lunch 2.0 with an event within the event. Good times. I’m told livepitch is like American Idol for entrepreneurs, with several “contestants” and a panel of judges.

Right after the pitches end, the usual Lunch 2.0 networking and socializing begins.

Sounds interesting, and I’m guessing this confluence of firsts will create a nice mix of several communities who should probably talk more in a single location.
