Matt Mullenweg on martinis, jazz, and a little open source project called WordPress

[HTML2]If you’re an out-of-town tech type who’s traipsing through Portland chances are—that at one time or another—you’re going to wind up on the set of Strange Love Live, the best tech podcast in Portland… if not the world.

So it comes as no surprise that when Matt Mullenweg, the founder of WordPress, was here in town for Beer and Blog (yes, the rumors were true) and WordCamp Portland that Cami Kaos and Dr. Normal managed to wrangle Matt away from WordCamp for a few minutes to chat about martinis, jazz, and, of course, WordPress.

What about the other content from the conference? Word around the campfire is that all of the WordCamp Portland content that was streamed will be made available—they’re just not sure quite when. So you’re encouraged to stay tuned to the WordCamp site.

And rest assured, I’ll let you know too.

  1. The conversations are already happening between myself, the WordPress.tv folks, and Joe from Blaze Streaming to get the content available online. We’ll letyou know when it’s ready.

And let me take this opportunity to again point out excellent the stream was. Seriously… we had people complimenting the quality of the stream. How often does that happen? Joe did great work.
