# What does Silicon Florist 2009 look like?

(Feel free to read that headline in a mad Samuel L. Jackson voice. I do.)

It’s the end of the year. That lull between Christmas and New Year’s Day. And as such, I’ve given the expansive staff at Silicon Florist time to go home and be with their families and friends.

That’s just how I roll.

But look. I understand that you deserve some care and consideration too. So rather than leaving the blog blank for an entire week, I thought I’d put up a few posts. You know, year in review kind of stuff. Because that’s what we tend to do around this time of year.

And one of my favorite things to do—as we look back—is visualize what the year looked like. Because it means I don’t have to write. Um. I mean, because it provides an interesting perspective on what was important, where the posts were focused, and just what we were talking about in 2009.

So here is a word cloud based on the Silicon Florist headlines throughout 2009.
