# REMINDER: Open Source Bridge call for proposals closes March 25

So you like the open source stuff? Think you know a little about it? Maybe enough to talk to other people about it? Well then don’t just sit there, my friend. You’ve only got a few more hours to complete your proposal—a proposal that could have you presenting to hundreds of very interested open source citizens.

That’s right. The premier open source conference in Portland—[Open Source Bridge](http://opensourcebridge.org "Open Source Bridge")—is looking for speakers. And the[ call for proposals](http://opensourcebridge.org/call-for-proposals/ "Open Source Bridge call for proposals") is almost closed. You’ve only got until March 25 to get your proposal in the door.

Interested but not exactly sure what to submit? Have no fear. Because Open Source Bridge is, well, open—and because the [OpenConferenceWare](http://openconferenceware.org/ "OpenConferenceWare") system running the proposal submissions is awesome—you get the chance to [review all the proposals that have already been submitted](http://opensourcebridge.org/events/2010/proposals "Open Source Bridge 2010 proposals").

There’s open sourcey thing you could imagine, from an [introduction to MongoDB](http://opensourcebridge.org/proposals/360 "Introduction to MongoDB") to [Please Pirate: Intellectual Unproperty](http://opensourcebridge.org/proposals/346 "Please Pirate: Intellectual Unproperty") to [On predicting predictors: hacking archive formats for fun and prophecy](http://opensourcebridge.org/proposals/289 "On predicting predictors: hacking archive formats for fun and prophecy").

And that’s just the beginning.

Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or new to the game, Open Source Bridge is the perfect spot to see if you’ve got what it takes. So why not [take a couple of minutes and kick in a proposal for this year](http://opensourcebridge.org/events/2010/proposals/new "Submit a proposal to Open Source Bridge").

You’ll be glad you did. If only to save yourself from the wrath of [OSBridgeBot](http://twitter.com/osbridgebot "OSBridgeBot").
