# Seesmic CTO Johann Romefort visiting Portland. What should he do while he’s here?

\[HTML1\][Word around the campfire](http://twitter.com/jkuramot/status/14774717880 "jkuramot on romefort visit") is that [Johann Romefort](http://twitter.com/romefort/ "Johann Romefort"), the CTO of [Seesmic](http://seesmic.com "Seesmic")—one of the leading [Twitter](http://twitter.com "Twitter") clients—will be in town for the weekend.

Any time Internet dignitaries swing by, it’s always good to show them a good old fashioned Portland welcome. And so I’m hoping that you—the geeky Portland consulate—can provide some suggestions for what Johann should do while he’s here in town.

Obviously, attending [Beer and Blog](http://beerandblog.com "Beer and Blog"), Friday afternoon, is at the top of the list. But there have got to be some other geeky things that he should be doing.

And aside from geekiness, no trip to Portland would be complete without a stop at [Whiffies](http://twitter.com/whiffies "Whiffies"). Maybe swinging by [Voodoo Doughnut](http://maps.google.com/places/us/or/portland/sw-3rd-ave/22/-voodoo-doughnut?gl=us "Voodoo Doughnut") and [Stumptown Coffee](http://stumptowncoffee.com/ "Stumptown Coffee")?

Where should he go? What should he see? Where should he eat? You know. Do tell.
