Trouble tracking the Thom Yorke meme? No worries. Portland’s Get Down Thom has you covered.

If there is one thing the Internet has in bushels, it’s snark. Release something that is ripe for lampooning and rest assured, the folks on the Web will take full advantage of it. Don’t believe me? Well just ask Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke whose somewhat spastic video for “Lotus Flower” has become the latest rage for humorous mashups.

But how is one to track all of these parodies? Well, leave it to Portland ingenuity. Introducing Get Down Thom.

One of the first mashups to arise in this meme is only a short version.

But you? You can create any sort of mashup you want. Just plug in a few details and you’ll be creating your own Thom Yorke infused mashup on the fly.

I mean, there’s already Beyonce and Katy Perry and Justin Bieber. Heck, there’s even Tears for Fears.

If I’m the first one to add “Double Dream Hands” it’s a complete travesty.

Simple. Elegant. And a complete time sink. I can’t wait to see what these guys do next.
