# Portland could have the best cloud based startup… if you vote for PHP Fog

[PHP Fog](https://phpfog.com/ "PHP Fog") is quietly coming into its own on the Portland startup scene. They’ve [secured nearly $2 million in funding](http://siliconflorist.com/2011/01/11/portland-funding-cloudy-foggy-madrona-leads-18-million-investment-php-fog/ "Portland funding gets cloudy and foggy: Madrona leads $1.8 million investment in PHP Fog"), they’ve graduated from [PIE](http://twitter.com/piepdx "PIE") to new office space, and they’re [continuing to improve their offering](http://blog.phpfog.com/2011/03/04/huge-progress-at-php-fog/ "Huge Progress at PHP Fog").

But, fact of the matter is, they’re still a bit of an unknown. But you could help change that. But you have to hurry it looks like voting has closed.

You see, the voting closes today. And the awards are being handed out tonight.
