# Dear Portland Startups, Would you mind sharing your pretty face (or logo) again?

Hope you’re a having a good weekend. Good [Timbers](http://portlandtimbers.com "Portland Timbers") game right? Yeah. Whatcha doing? Oh. That sounds nice. Oh me? Not much. Just you know, taking care of some to dos. Checking out the [Twitters](http://twitter.com/siliconflorist "Silicon Florist on Twitter"). Looking at my [Facebook](http://facebook.com/siliconflorist "Silicon Florist on Facebook")… Holy crap that’s horrible!

Sorry. I just noticed I have all this space on the [Silicon Florist Facebook page](http://facebook.com/siliconflorist "Silicon Florist Facebook page") that is being completely wasted. WTF? That’s stupid. So I came up with a little idea.

Remember when I asked [all of you Silicon Forest startups to send me your logo](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/04/13/silicon-forest-startups-would-you-mind-sending-me-your-logo/ "Silicon Forest startups: Would you mind sending me your logo?") so that I could put it on the back of my business cards? [People love those things](http://siliconflorist.com/2009/05/01/silicon-florist-moo-cards/ "Silicon Florist Moo cards are here!").

Well, and I’m really proud to share your logos with people from all over the place. So when you take that and couple it with the naked photo area for that Facebook page and then add in the fact that our friends over at [db clay were asking folks to upload photos of their wallets](http://garett.dbclay.com/wheres-walleto/ "Where's Walleto?")… It finally kind of dawned on me that I should ask you if you’d like that real estate to promote your company.

And who knows maybe, just maybe, it might be time to order another run of cards…?

Anyway, here’s what you do.

### How to make your awesome Portland startup visible on the Silicon Florist Facebook page

1. Head on over to the [Silicon Florist Facebook page](http://www.facebook.com/siliconflorist "Silicon Florist on Facebook").
2. Go ahead and like the Silicon Florist page if you haven’t done that already. But I know you have. Right?
3. Add your logo to the page by uploading a photo to the Wall. (Alternatively, upload the photo to your wall and either tag Silicon Florist in it or @ tag Silicon Florist in the comment.)
4. Profit!
5. BONUS: Share your logo on your personal wall so all your friends like it and you become the most popular kid on Facebook.

What’s that? What’s with the frown there, tiger? You don’t have a logo? That’s okay. Head on over to the Silicon Florist page and like the page and some of the logos there, anyway. Maybe seeing other logos will inspire your creativity. Or maybe you’d like to upload a photo of the code you’re writing or an event you’re planning \*cough\* [BarCamp Portland](http://barcampportland.org/ "BarCamp Portland") \*cough\* or something else having to do with your startup. Or maybe there’s a side project you love that you want to share \*cough\* [Calagator](http://calagator.org "Calagator") \*cough\*. Whatever.

Here. To start you off, [I uploaded the PIE logo](http://www.facebook.com/siliconflorist#!/photo.php?fbid=10150202432929209&set=o.102833231528&type=1&theater "PIE logo on Silicon Florist"). See? Easy peasy. And win win. You get a little free publicity and Silicon Florist doesn’t have such an embarrassingly barren photo section.

Now, it’s your turn. [Scoot](http://www.facebook.com/siliconflorist "Silicon Florist on Facebook").
