# Meet the Startup: Discussing the Portland startup space with Jones Lang LaSalle

There are a number of awesome sponsors who help make Make a Startup a reality. And a fringe benefit is that they’re all deeply tied into the Portland startup community. So chatting with them gives us interesting insights into what’s happening here.

This week, we’re chatting with [Kristin Hammond](http://twitter.com/fzmcfadden "Kristin Hammond") from [Jones Lang LaSalle](http://www.joneslanglasalle.com "Jones Lang LaSalle") about what’s happening in Portland.
