# $500,000+ on Kickstarter and counting: Elevation iPhone dock by Portland’s Casey Hopkins

I… Yeah. I don’t even really know where to begin.

Elegantly solving a problem for design conscious iPhone types with a beautiful product. The fastest funded [Kickstarter](http://kickstarter.com "Kickstarter") project ever. More than $500,000 raised so far—roughly 700% of its target goal. And it’s still got 37 days to go.

And oh yeah, it’s from Portland. Meet the [Elevation Dock: the best dock for the iPhone from Casey Hopkins](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hop/elevation-dock-the-best-dock-for-iphone "Elevation Dock: The Best Dock For iPhone").

I have no words.

And I’m not the only one drooling over it. A who’s who of Apple fanboys, design aficionados, and Internet tastemakers are singing its praises—from [John Gruber of Daring Fireball](http://daringfireball.net/linked/2011/12/13/elevation-dock "http://daringfireball.net/linked/2011/12/13/elevation-dock") to [Jason Fried of 37signals](https://twitter.com/#!/jasonfried/status/147039593001254913 "Jason Fried on Elevation dock").

In a word, exquisite.

The attention to detail. The pitch. The rewards. Man, the product is only rivaled by the mastery of the Kickstarter campaign.

I wouldn’t be surprised if [Casey Hopkins](http://twitter.com/caseyhop "Casey Hopkins")‘ name starts getting lumped in with Jack Dorsey as the next CEO of Apple.

Okay wait. That would be kind of surprising. But still. You catch my drift.

[Don’t wait. Get your own](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hop/elevation-dock-the-best-dock-for-iphone "Elevation Dock: The Best Dock For iPhone"). Or two.
