# Working to dispel the “You can’t get funded in Portland” myth

You hear me chirping about how we’re getting more and more funding here in Portland. But are we really?

Well, [Amber Case](http://twitter.com/caseorganic "Amber Case") and [Aaron Parecki](http://twitter.com/aaronpk "Aaron Parecki") of [Geoloqi](http://geoloqi.com "Geoloqi") took a stab at building something more objective than our usually anecdotal take on the funding atmosphere around here. The result? A wiki that details the [Portland funding events, acquisitions, and other highlights](http://aaronparecki.com/Portland_Funding_and_Acquisitions "Portland Funding and Acquisitions") over the last few years.

Not seeing a story you think should be there? Well, you’re in luck. Because you can help edit it. Just send @aaronpk a tweet, introduce yourself, and then sign in with Twitter OAuth. Voila!

Curious about how much a capital has been invested in Portland recently? Take a look at [Portland Funding and Acquisitions](http://aaronparecki.com/Portland_Funding_and_Acquisitions "Portland Funding and Acquisitions").
