# Want to see what’s been cooking at PIE? Come to PIE Demo Day, January 17

A little over three months ago, a group of aspiring entrepreneurs joined in an experiment called [PIE, the Portland Incubator Experiment](http://piepdx.com/ "PIE Portland Incubator Experiment"). After three months of mucking, mentoring, and molding, these eight startups are prepared to take the stage and launch their companies, on January 17.

[And you’re invited join them](http://piepdx.com/demoday "PIE Demo Day").

> A little over two years ago, entrepreneurs, technologists and Wieden+Kennedy partnered to create the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE). This coworking space housed Urban Airship (more than $20 million in funding), AppFog (nearly $10 million in funding), the development team for Simple (more than $13 million in funding), and a host of other startups. This year, PIE has taken that learning and created an accelerator program for promising early stage startups.

> With several companies already generating significant investor interest, this is your chance to see PIE’s eight tech startups unveiled!

Sound interesting? [PIE still has a few open seats for Demo Day](http://piepdx.com/demoday "PIE Demo Day") if you’d like to hear the startup stories, firsthand.

*\[Editor’s note: Full disclosure: I work for PIE, so I may be a little exuberant.\]*
