# Free Friday: Fostering creativity at Urban Airship

I realize I’ve already [posted about Urban Airship once today](http://siliconflorist.com/2012/03/06/meet-startup-captain-speaking-urban-airship/ "Meet the Startup: This is your captain speaking… about Urban Airship"). And I realize that I’ve [posted about UA’s focus on corporate culture](http://siliconflorist.com/2012/02/24/cultivating-corporate-culture-key-ingredient-building-killer-startup/ "Cultivating corporate culture: A key ingredient to building a killer startup"). But I came across this video that motivated me to post once more on the subject. So sue me.

Remember [that whole 20% thing with Google](http://www.google.com/jobs/lifeatgoogle/englife/index.html "Google 20 percent time")? Well, Urban Airship has something similar. It’s called “Free Friday.” And it’s another interesting example of how they keep their employees engaged… and thinking creatively.

Oh. And did I mention, [they’re hiring](http://urbanairship.com/company/jobs/ "Urban Airship jobs")?
