# Geeks on a Train: Join Dave McClure and your peers from Portland and Seattle for a trip to Vancouver (No, the other one)

Most days, we’re all so heads down that we don’t get the opportunity to chat with our peers. And it’s even more rare for that to occur with our peers in Seattle. That’s why events are always a welcome opportunity to catch up.

And this year, one of those events—the [GROW conference](http://growconf.com/ "GROW conference")—has an added benefit. This time, half the fun (if not more) will be getting there. Because [Dave McClure](http://twitter.com/davemcclure "Dave McClure") of [500 startups](http://500.co/ "500 startups") is putting together a [Geeks on Train](http://www.geeksonatrain.ca/ "Geeks on Train") trip to the conference.

But you’ve got to hurry. Because even though the trip is happening until late August, seats are going fast.

There’s wifi, drinks, food, and 100+ geeks including founders, investors, entrepreneurs, bloggers, developers, designers, and more. Many of the GROW speakers are also on-board!

Like who, you say? Or maybe you say “Like whom?” Whichever. In addition to Dave, some of the current riders are: Scott Kveton of Urban Airship, John Cook of GeekWire, Joe Stump of Sprintly, Neil Patel of KISSmetrics, Red Russak of Startup City, Chris DeVore of Founders Co-Op, and teams from AppFog, Cloudability, and Flurry.

Not a bad crew with whom to spend a few hours. At all.
