# Meet the Startup: In the hot seat with Kelly’s Jelly

Every once in a while, Meet the Startup steps away from tech to interview other startups. This does two awesome things: 1) It helps you pull your head out of tech for a few moments and 2) it helps you realize that every entrepreneur goes through similar struggles.

Take [Kelly’s Jelly](http://kellysjelly.com/ "Kelly's Jelly"). From bootstrapping to creative partnering (with Portland icon [Voodoo Doughnut](http://voodoodoughnut.com/ "Voodoo Doughnut")) to the startup roller coaster, I think you’ll find some interesting insights here, no matter what you’re pursuing.
