What's NEXT? Portland Startup Weekend adopts NEXT program

With Portland Startup Weekend Fall 2012 barely concluded, Portland Startup Weekend’s crew is already onto the next big thing: Startup Weekend NEXT.Driven by Startup Weekend headquarters, NEXT kicks off in Portland and 15 other cities November 28th.

It’s especially designed for post-Startup Weekend teams ready to take their ideas and teams further—to challenge themselves to really go the distance to develop a thriving, fully-functioning startup.

NEXT is an intensive 3-week program that combines the forces of Startup Weekend, Steve Blank, Udacity, TechStars and Startup America to offer some of the world’s most effective entrepreneurial education. It’s based on Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad curriculum, customized into an in-depth, in-person, mentor-driven follow-on course to Startup Weekend.

There’s still time to get in on Portland NEXT—but time is of the essence with the close start date! Sign-ups are limited to 40 total entrepreneurs—who must register as teams of at least two individuals that are actively working on a startup idea or startup company. Startup Weekend experience is not officially required, but is highly recommended.
