# Fail blogging: 27 Portland startup topics I should have covered in 2012

Honestly, I got into this whole blogging thing with the best intentions. I swear. But sometimes, the little side project that is Silicon Florist takes a back seat to other efforts. And some stories fall by the wayside. But that doesn’t mean that they’re any less important.

So, as chagrin as I am to admit it, a few things either got by me or sat there without getting written in 2012. Mea culpa.

But the very least I can do—and I do mean “the *very* least”—is mention a few of them. So here we go. Here are some of the stories that should have graced the pages of Silicon Florist, last year. But didn’t. Through no one’s fault but my own.

Just imagine the following with really long headlines and poorly written posts:

### Acquisitions

But wait. There’s more! Or something. I’ve got a few others that are currently half-written. So as the new year gets underway, I’ll work to complete those posts and get them, um, posted.
